Country Heights, Kajang

I arrived at Country Heights, Kajang at 10:10am for the 1st time in my life. You must wondered why? Well, I am  not  a millionaire and I did not own a bungalow here…. That why.

I may have passed by the Seremban – Kuala Lumpur Highway (in between University Putra Malaysia & Country Heights) since 1985 till now for several hundred of times (or even thousand times?) but today I finally decided to leave some footsteps here on the land where bungalows worth of millions have been proudly stand up!

I parked the car at open car park in front of CIMB Bank. I managed to capture the open topped horses-drawn carriage that suppose to bring new Crown Ambassador 李恩全 Lee Yin Chuan & Gek Hong 韓玉風 to Malaysia 1st Crown Ambassador 李防之 Peter Lee & Choi Kit’s bungalow home. I believed that it was on it way to dress up the carriage. Smile

Welcome Crown Ambassador Lee Yin Chuan (李恩全) & Gek Hong (韓玉風))

I will be at Country Heights to welcome the arrival of newly qualified Crown Ambassador, Lee Yin Chuan (李恩全) & Hon Gek Hong (韓玉風) around 11:30am together with other Network J&J Independence Business Owner (IBOs) Being Crown Ambassador so GOOD! Company will specially chartered a helicopter to bring them from JB to Kuala Lumpur.

Have you ever witness… when your boss or you being promoted, your company will make this VIP treatment for you? I have not seen one, so I will be there to witness it for myself! Of course taking pictures and video clips is another reason I want to be there.

Of course, I will not want to miss out this opportunity to go to Peter Lee Pang Say’s (李防之) Bungalow house. Frankly speaking I have never been to his house before. I want to witness with my own eyes how a millionaire lifestyle is.

Attending DUN Teratai Chinese New Year Open House

Woke up at 9:40AM, get prepared and drove to Pandan Perdana at 10:20AM I reached there around 10:40AM. I parked the car at the town area and walk to the open space at Jalan Perdana 6/3.

The event have not yet start. I was given a voucher to exchange for the food and drink. This the first time I have attended an open house where the voucher was given. I guess this should be the best way to prevent people from pushing each other for the foods. It is  also fair to everybody too. No voucher, no food! While waiting for the event to start, I walked around to take some pictures.

Majlis Rumah Terbuka Tahun Baru Cina 1Malaysia 2011

State MCA chairman Senator Datuk Dr Yeow Chai Thiam said the event, to be held for the first time at night, is jointly organised by the state government, MCA, Gerakan, Negeri Sembilan Chinese Clan Association and the Negeri Sembilan Chinese Chamber of Commerce. The event will also feature cultural performances such as the 1Malaysia dance, songs, Chinese classical music, Chinese drums and lion and dragon dance. Other activities include a lucky draw with hampers and 10 bicycles up for grabs.

I brought my mum for the open house event. This is the 1st time she have attended open house but she saw the ugly site of it. We stand there queing for the foods since 7:30PM but up to 8:30PM we are still not allow to have the foods as the VIP have not arrived.

By then most of the people there have lost patience and they started to grab the foods like “Hungry Ghost”, even the Rela members have lost control of the situation. When my mum saw that situation, she said, “If this is so called 1 Malaysia open house, next year I won’t come again!”

And when the VIP came, they and their “cronies’ sat comfortably in the hall and all the foods was served to them. They have forgotten the “Rakyat” queing outside (some pushing each other) for the foods.

When they (Rakyat) have their foods, they need to sit by the roadside, staircase, or even standing to eat it.

Is this called 1 Malaysia spirit? People First; Performance Now (Rakyat Didahulukan, Pencapaian Diutamakan) when the VIPs and their “cronies” enjoying the foods comfortably inside the hall while the “Rakyat Dikastakan”

They should joined the “Rakyat” for the foods then they will realise what  was happening there and how to improve it in next open house event.

If this is the way they want to win public heart in the next general election, I believed that those not happy with the way how the open house was organised will definitely not vote for them.

It won’t be a surprise if MCA (or MP from BN) cannot win this Parlimentary seat as the “Rakyat” can see properly based on this simple open house event. If their MP won, their cronies will be benefited. The “Rakyat” will be “left out”.

When we left, I saw there are people who “Ta Pau” (packed) foods back while there are people who don’t have foods. It time for organiser to look at this matter. No one is allow to leave the open house with “Ta Pau” foods. All foods need to be ate there. If Malaysia government want to promote open houses to tourists and foreigner… packed foods back home & wasted foods are really an ugly sight! What a shame.

I have attended a few open houses before:-

  1. Pakatan Rakyat 2008 Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House (Kampung Baru) – larger space (open field) a bit muddy due to drizzling, averagely organised, some  MPs willingly have photo session with the member of public, not much foods, the “Rakyat” behave properly and have discipline.
  2. Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak & Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor Hari Raya Aidilfitri  2010 Open House – well organised and the whole events went on smoothly. More than enough foods, bigger space and the “Rakyat” behave properly and have discipline.
  3. Tun Dr. Mahathir & Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2010 Open House – well organised and the whole events went on smoothly. More than enough foods and the “Rakyat” behave properly and have discipline. Everyone have the chance to have photo session with the Tun(s)
  4. MIC Deepavali 2010 Open House (PWTC) – well organised and the whole events went on smoothly. More than enough foods and the “Rakyat” behave properly and have discipline. Fair enough to everybody, those who came earlier have the better sit on the provided tables. The ugly sight is – there are people wasting foods. They took more than  enough foods they can eat and dump it later on the table like rubbish.
  5. MIC Deepavali 2010 Open House (Putrajaya) – well organised and the whole events went on smoothly. More than enough foods and the “Rakyat” behave properly and have discipline. Fair enough to everybody, those who came earlier have the better sit on the provided tables.
  6. Negeri Sembilan Chinese New Year 1 Malaysia 2011 Open House is the “worse” I can see. Even open house by Pakatan Rakyat (2008) much better if compare with this one.
