FHM’s annual search for the next ‘Girl Next Door’ reveals who the boys (and girls) voted as this year’s favourite.

FHM, the world’s biggest men’s magazine with 24 editions around the world and over 10 million readers globally, is set to shake Malaysia once again as they unveil the new FHM Girl Next Door (GND) 2011.

After an exhaustive search and a stringent audition which started in September 2010, 12 girls were selected to become finalists of the FHM GND 2011. These finalists were sent to workshops and rigorous trainings as they vie for the grand prize as the new FHM GND 2011.

Votes from the readers make up 40% of the scoring system and the balance rests on the shoulders of an esteemed panel of judges. The judges are Simon Burgess, the editor of FHM, David Gan, Senior Sales Manager from Calsberg, Amber Chia, Chantelle Chuah and Rudy from Red FM.

The anticipation runs high as the Finale Party draws near. The winner will be announced at the FHM’s GND 2011 Finale Party on 14 January 2011 at Ministry of Sound Euphoria.

The winner of FHM GND 2011 will be featured on the cover of FHM March 2011 and receive more than RM 10,000 worth of cash and prizes from the sponsors.

Previous winners of the FHM Girl Next Door Search are: Crissty Chiang (2007), Angie Ng (2008), Jezamine Lim (2009) and Yvonne Sim (2010).

Every year, FHM and its partners nurture each GND winner to become a star in her own right. Besides her cover story in the March issue, she will be featured in the magazine for various editorial contents and at FHM events. In fact, previous winners have gone on to forge modelling careers. Examples include Angie Ng, who is now an international model, Yvonne Sim, who was last seen in a Red Bull broadcast commercial.

Hosted by Jeremy of Red FM, with entertainment by Mizz Nina, Caprice, Marsha Milan as well as the 12 GND finalists strutting a catwalk and sexy dance routines, and with an expected turnout of more than 800 people, the party promises a night of fun, fun, fun.

The party pass is available with every copy of the January issue of FHM.

The FHM GND 2011 is presented by Calsberg, and is supported by Spritzer, Lois, Amber Chia Academy, Certina, Celebrity Fitness and Red FM.
