Batu Caves Sri Subramaniar Swamy Temple

We went to Batu Caves this morning. My honey have been asking me to bring her for hill climbing a few days back. As I cannot think of better place to climb around Wangsa Maju area, I have decided to bring her to Batu Caves since she have not been there. Another thing is Batu Caves is the nearest place from Wangsa Maju and it is also an international tourists attraction due to the Thaipusam event that was held here annually.

Actually we want to come to this place yesterday but due to the sudden rain, we finally canceled it. Today seem to be nice weather though the sky is a bit grey. Upon reaching there, I have missed the turn to the temple due to changes of the road I need to u-turn back to get to the correct road.

Parking for car just RM 2 per entry not time base meter. After parked the car on the allocated space, we walked pass the management office of Batu Caves. I decided to snap a picture of the artwork on the wall. This can tell people who are the management of this temple.

If take a look at the parking ticket, you can noticed two temples name was printed. 1) Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Dhevasthanam 2) Sri Subramaniar Swamy Temple

As my honey saw the pigeons walking the ground she got so excited.

We went back to the main entrance and I goes to shoot some video clips of the monkeys. My honey dare not follow me as she scared of the monkeys now.

Around 1:00PM we went for a simple snack at the nearby restaurant.
