Wake up at 6:20AM, took bath, get ready and left my place at 7:00AM. Have a plate of hot nasi lemak & teh tarik at nearby Mamak restaurant. Drove to Sri Petaling Hotel. Reached there at 8:00AM. Since it is still early and I saw the hotel staff preparing today newspaper, I took one and then sat down to do some reading.

Around 8:30AM, most of the Amway IBOs have been arrived for the day 2 seminar. I went into the seminar room around 8:40AM and it started on 9:10AM and have learned about the nutrition products for body slimming from a Diamond Tee Bee Ling (Jee Ong’s wife)

How to do good sponsoring? What I have learned from Diamond Edwin Teh

In order to sponsor new people into Amway business, knowledge to present opportunity plan is a must. Keep demonstration of product to the most simplest form. Example just used the demonstration of Metal Cleaner on 1 cents copper coin.

I should not judge a book by it cover. This mean that  I should gave everyone a chance by sharing as much business presentations as I can.  To get proper message & feedback from my prospects, I can make use of FORM method.

F – Family
O – Occupation
R – Recreation
M – Message

The market will never be saturated as every year, there are many youngsters that will be 18 years old. As the economic slow down have already started more and more people will be looking around to seek for 2nd job, 2nd business that can provide them the 2nd income. Both factors will help Amway IBOs boosted up their sponsoring activities.

Step 7 Meeting

Centre meeting – No meeting, No Amway. No Amway, No Future.  I should gave this a deep thought, “What have I lack of in my life and am I able to find in Amway?” Amway business start from my mind first and I must use “Empty Glass Attitude” when learning. I should attend meeting, learn from meeting, get the right timing, get the right place, get the right people, get the business build up!

The spirit of wild geese and it V-shape formation abilities. What I have learned from Executive Diamond (EDC) Gan Hwa Seng.

Success in Amway is not through own effort, but we need a team with same dream and vision in order to move to greater height. We can learn a lot about this team work and it spirit by studying the ability of migrating wild geese. When this geese migrated, it will fly in V-shape formation, honking musically as they cross the sky every spring and fall. Why?

V formation geese is the symbol of the wild and have remained a mystery until research study have been done by scientists. They have determined that the V-shaped formation that geese use when migrating serves two important purposes:

First, It’s assumed that geese and other large migrating birds arrange themselves into a V-shaped pattern because of its aerodynamic advantages. The wings of a bird in flight create a down wash and an up wash of air, with most of the up wash concentrated behind and just beyond the tips of the wings. A bird that follows in this up washing air is lifted slightly, encountering less drag resulting in a reduction of wind resistance than it would if it flew solo.

Each bird flies slightly above the bird in front. The birds take turns being in the front, falling back when they get tired. In this way, the geese can fly for a long time before they must stop for rest. With the exception of the trailblazing bird in the lead, all the members of the flock should gain an advantage from the bird ahead, thus saving energy during long flights.

Second, it could be that geese organize themselves in echelons simply because the arrangement allows each bird to see clearly, avoid collisions with the neighbors, and stay securely within the flock.The benefit to the V formation is that it is easy to keep track of every bird in the group. Fighter pilots often use this formation for the same purpose.

Step 8 Spot The Leaders – What I have learned from Diamond Siay Deng (李小玲)

Before I can spot the leaders, I should asked myself this question, “Am I the leader?” If I am, I should take own responsibilities and do the right thing at the first place. I must know that Amway is my own business. Whatever I do, I do it for myself. I didn’t do it for my uplines nor did I do for my downlines. I must know how strong I want Amway. Do I take own initiative to ask what ever I don’t know. Willing to learn and apply whatever I have learned, willing to change, willing to put in time, have good attitude, respect all leaders (teachers) and the centre sytem. Most important if I want Amway in my life I need to attend meeting (centre meeting, 天龍八步, Genting) No meeting, no Amway!

The Value Of Amway

Amway given us the friendship we cannot find in conventional business. Amway can help people by giving them a business opportunity. People that have succeed in Amway willing to teach us. Amway also given it IBOs an opportunity to expand business to oversea. Amway can give us the security we want to leave to our family if we are successful.

If no health, no wealth, no time I will be lived an useless life. Common people only get things done, successful people did the right thing. In my life I need to choose the right choice. When I am in Amway I need to earn money in order for me to pursue my dreams. When I earn money, I will be very excited! I can influence people naturally with my excitement.

How to earn money in Amway? I need to have 20 front line customer distributors that will be using the products monthly by either qualifying 3%, 6% or 9%. If I can’t get the front line in a month, I can try again the 2nd month, the 3rd and so on until I have the  number. I must race ahead against the time. If one of the front line called it a quit, I must find the replacement as fast as possible. I can’t sit there and wait for thing to happen. I must remember that time have limit but opportunity is unlimited. My all time goal…. I must have 20 – 3%, 6% or 9% front lines!

As Diamond Tee Bee Ling (Jee Ong’s wife) have finished with her presentation on the Body Slimming Products, I have realised that this lady have moved over the empty seat beside me. Initially the seat was seated by a guy but later I don’t know where he have gone and left the seat empty. When the MC came up the stage again, he instructed all of us in the hall to stand up and put our arms on our neighbor shoulder left right to do some simple warming up workout. As I put my right arm on her left shoulder (her left arm on my right shoulder) she turned toward her back and laughingly “warn” her friend at the back not to take any photo

Then the MC have instructed us to move our body to the left, to the right, to the front and to the back and that moment I saw her friend (the one holding orange plastic bag) was in front of us snapping photos. My goodness…. must be very ugly I guessed…. Ha! Ha!

After the warming up exercise, I left her alone as I busy noted down what the next speaker is going to share. When there is a break in between I took the opportunity to introduce myself to her and we shake hand and we have a brief chat just before another new speaker took over the stage.

As I studied English (Malay) medium, I can’t wrote in Chinese. Though I can understand Mandarin, I need to ‘crack’ my brain to translate it all to English. She saw what I am doing and knew that I am not from Chinese medium school.

During lunch time, as we walked out the hall, we will be given a coupon each as an entrance ticket for the dining halls. The person in charge is giving out 2 type of coupons. 1 in white colour and 1 in light blue. She and her friends was given the light blue but I was given the white one. I saw her turned back and signal me to get the blue one (which mean she want me to follow her & friends) I quickly slip back to the person in charge and changed it to light blue.

As we are having lunch, she began to introduce each of her friends to me. Some from Mentakab and Kuantan. Then only I came to know they are from Pahang! After lunch, we all backed to the seminar hall for the next round. We exchanged business card and I left her my email. At then end of the seminar, we have a photo session and we all left the seminar room at 5:55PM. Nice knowing you Siew Lan! I believed we will have chance to meet again.

As I drove home, I passed by Tesco Taman Midah I decided to stop for a while and have this Chicken Rojak at one of the Mamak restaurant. It taste good.
