As I walked out of the Wangsa Walk, I looked up at the sky…. it is cloudy and grey! A sign it will be raining any moment from now on. I walked to the car (that have parked on the open car park of NZ Curry House) I took the umbrella with me (just in case it will be rain) walked down the slope and goes to the Amway Shop.

In the shop, there are a few Amway distributors (IBOs) shopping in the shoppe that moment and I have decided to take a look at the backpack bag.  One  is red and the other blue in colour. Hmm…. RM 289! (Customer Price) Wow! Another RM 100 more than the one I saw at computer shop?

As I checked through the inside parts, it really satisfied my need & requirement. It have places for hand phone, coins, computer cords, wire, hard disc (& other accessories) magazine, folders, name cards, netbook computer, water tupperware etc….. but I did not make the decision to buy it. I walked out of the shop. While walking back to the car, I began to think…. if I buy it from the computer shop I only pay RM 180 but if I buy from Amway I need to pay RM 289… but wait a minute… this is customer price right? I am an Amway distributor myself…. I should get much cheaper distributor price.

If I buy from the computer shop….. I don’t have any bonus giving back to me (by the shop) but if I buy from Amway I will get distributor price + bonus refund woh! As I calculated in my mind…. after deducted the bonus…. it still came almost the same price with the one I can get from computer shop. So why let other earn if I can save it on my own? No logic right?

So I goes back to the Amway shop again. Finally I made up the decision….. that is I bought it from “my own shop” – The Amway Shop I told the Amway staff that I need a red colour one. Why I choose the red instead of blue? Well…. I found that the red look better on black colour or white shirt (my coat is black…. some of my T-shirts are white)

Of course I did not forget my favourite Premium Gold Nuggets Assortment (Milk Chocolate with Almonds, Milk Chocolate with Butter crunch, White Yogurt Chocolate with Raisins) – 250gm. Yummy! The best chocolate I ever tasted. RM 18.50 (Customer Price)

When I decided to make the payment, the Amway staff told me that the total just RM 200 something (not yet reached RM 300) I remembered that there is an “Order, Match & Get Instant REWARDS” contest for the month of January 2010 where the condition is:

So to make that order RM 300 and above, I decided to add in 1 Nutrilite Protein Drink Mix Mixed Berries Flavour (500 g) [Customer Price RM 100] as I needed this product too. This automatically qualified me for the Cash Grabs contest. I also order 1 set eSpring Customer Brochure (English) & 1 set of eSpring Customer Brochure (Malay)

When the payment have been made and the order form printed, I checked through the order number to see if it match any of these numbers. Opps I have 723 as last number! (Instead of 223) So I missed out the RM 50 Instant Cash! Not lucky day for me.
