Nicole Tan (Nicolekiss) Look For Blackberry Curve 8520

As I read Nicole Tan’s blog (Nicolekiss) she have stated that she is looking for more information about the Blackberry Curve 8520 mobile phone.

[24th September, 2009] – she said “The day has come. Soon I will own my very own Blackberry. *BIG SMILE*” From the comments of her readers feedback, the price of the phone range from RM 699 – RM 1999.99! So which one is correct?

[27th September, 2009] – she said, “Anyway, I figured by now the price for Curve 8520 should be out two days ago, since I’ve been traveling for the past few days, I was wondering if anyone found out the price for the phone already. Ermm…

From her posts in facebook,

27th September, 2009 – “I miss having a blackberry. And I never own a blackberry before! Oh btw. Blackberry Curve 8520 has already been revealed two days ago! I’m in Cha-Am so I can’t keep track of it! Does anyone know what is the price for the New Blackberry Curve 8520 yet? I’m in Cha-Am, Thailand. Can’t wait to find out the price.

As her reader in The Star newspaper, her facebook, her blog (once a while) ;)   I decided to do her a  favour. I just try my best to find if I can help her with this information.  For days I have browsed through the newspaper, finally I managed to dig out this article. I took a snap shot of it. Back home, I uploaded to my facebook and tag her.

As I read the article, RM 699? Hmm.. consider cheap. I followed the link to Maxis website and I placed an online booking. Any other hidden charges by Maxis? I don’t know. After finished with the registration, a message displayed that Maxis will contact me when the phone is available.

Later while preparing this blog, I saw Nicole  online in facebook. Yes! She is back to Malaysia now but she did not mention anything about it. Didn’t she saw the picture I have uploaded?  I wondered… so I decided to chat her up.

4:13am Stephen: I have posted the blackberry information for you to take a look. With RM 699 you can get the phone now.
4:13am Nicole: O.. really. so cheap? How come?
4:13am Stephen: Look at the picture in your album. Information is there. So do you like the information? I have took days to find it…. finally I got this one. I don’t know if Maxis have any hidden thing behind? But I have made one reservation for myself.. ha! ha! :)

She did not response. :( Maybe busy updating her blogs of her recent trip to Bangkok, Thailand. Well… anyway, what important is, I finally finished blogging about this Blackberry Curve 8520 phone.

Pesta Tanglung 1Malaysia – Pasar Seni, Kuala Lumpur

8:00PM from the news, I have came to know that a “Pesta Tanglung 1Malaysia” (1Malaysia Lantern Festival)  is happening at Pasar Seni, Kuala Lumpur.  I was thinking, “Want to go or not?” If I go there now…. I might have missed a lot of happening from the beginning. And where the heck is Pasar Seni? (Central Market?) Hmm… Should be, as the news did mentioned that the lantern procession walk is from Pasar Seni to Kota Raya. Then another thought came to my mind. If I go there now…. do I have the place for parking? I believed many people have taken up those parking space at the surrounding area. If no parking place, go there also no use.

Finally I thought, better stay at home as I also have some other thing to do. Well… I might have missed this event but I am very sure there are people will upload the event video to YouTube. If so, later I can embedded it here soon.

Two Type Of Women

As I watched Hindustan movie this afternoon the actor said there are two type of women.

The one you can live without her.

The one you cannot live without her.

Hmm… after giving it a deep thought, it can be truth. My life is full of women that I can lived without them but yet to meet a woman that I cannot live without her! Who is she? Where she is? When she will be in my life? Is she is a Malaysian? A Philippines? Of a Vietnamese?

090909

To Chinese, 9 is a symbol of everlasting. As I watched the news this afternoon, I have seen many Chinese couple registered their married in Thean Hou Temple. I have been wondered if the date 090909 will actually made their marriage last forever? I doubt it is as many younger generation nowadays did not really look up marriage as a serious long time affair.

Many more things and challenges will wait for them in future as a married couple. A minor change or misunderstanding among them may lead to divorce. This have been very common nowadays.

I only believed 9 is everlasting when they get married, stay married and at then end of their life, they still died as husband & wife. This I called everlasting. If they get married today, divorce tomorrow this is not everlasting, no matter how good and meaningful a date they have first choose to get married. Certain date have been oversell by media, advertising or businesses just for their own benefits. Not it claimed as what it is.

Those who indeed get registered or married. Congratulation!

My Life Succeeding These Dates

Today is 090909. Some people believed that this date mean “everlasting forever” especially for Chinese. How about you? Do you believe it? No matter what the meaning for you of this date. It is will be here for another 24 hours before you called it a day. This date may give you some memorable experiences or it might just another day for some and have no special meaning at all. Since it is just 24 hours, what importance now is how you want to live on this day count.

As far I knew, each time my life passed by these dates I have been getting older by 1 year. My life still the same. I am still alone, no girlfriend, no wife, no children and not yet a millionaire. What changed is the car I have drove. The place I have lived. For sure I have lost my father. The age of my mum & myself are catching up. My business network expanded locally and entered 1 0r 2 countries I have never dream before.

I am not boasting or being proud to announce that I have succeeding living on these dates which are [060666 (6th June 1966)] [070777 (7th July 1977)] [080888 (8th August 1988)] [090999 (9th September 1999] I definitely very sure that I am one of the many human that have succeeded in living at 2 centuries (the 20s and 21st) Other dates I survived through are [010101 (1st January 2001)] [020202 (2nd February 2002)] [030303 (3rd March 2003)] [040404 (4th April 2004)] [050505 (5th May 2005)] [060606 (6th June 2006)] [070707 (7th July 2007)] [080808 (8th August 2008)] [090909 (9th September 2009)]

It’s Not Easy To Be Me

It’s Not Easy To Be Me – My favourite song. My favourite movies. Superman The Movies (1978), Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983), Superman IV (1987), Lois & Clark – The New Adventure Of Superman, Superman Returns (2006),  and Smallville. He is my kind of Hero, my idol. He is strong, powerful, able to fly faster than the speed of light and he is here to save the world! Sometime I think I am Superman but I am not.

At the age of 4 years old (1969)

  • In one of the afternoon, I remembered that I climbed up the table and played some toys with my eldest sister (She is 5 years old then) without I realise, I slipped the place I am holding and felt directly on top of a metal kerosene container that is placing near the table. My face hit the edge of the container and it cut opened the right side of my nose. I stand up bleeding and my sister has a shocked! (That moment my father was taking the afternoon nap and my mother was in the rubber plantation) My sister quickly wakes up my father. He had a shocked too!
  • Then my mother came back and she nearly fainted to see my situation that time! (My little T-shirt coloured red with the blood!) But she managed to calm down. Without changing her working cloth, she put me on the motorbike and rushes me to Linggi town. From there, we hired a cab to Rantau, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia (My uncle was a doctor and have a clinic there)
  • While in the cab, I don’t feel any pain at all, but the real pain came when my uncle tried to mend up my nose with stitches. For each stitches, the tears came out flowing from the eyes. Finally it was done with 8 stitches! He told my mother that I was very lucky. If I’m hit on the nose bone, he can’t imagine what will have happened to me!
  • I can say today that my uncle is very good! He managed to fix my nose without leaving any big mark! You can only see the minor line on the nose if you stand very close to me! If from far, I looked just like other normal people.

At the age of 6 years old (1971)

  • I climbed up the rambutan tree to pluck some fruits but I put on the wrong step on the fragile dry branch! It broke and I indeed flew in 2 seconds ;) but the force of gravity pulled me down. I landed flat on my chest at  the ground. Luckily it is just 5 feet tall but high enough for a 6 years old kid to fly. I picked myself up and sat down pale the whole face and seeing some stars circling around my head.

At the age of 7 years old (1972)

  • After watching the Bruce Lee movie by the name of  “The Big Boss” I climbed up the table and did some “Bruce Lee Flying Kick” to the ground.
  • Not enough stunt from the table. I began a more daring adventure! That is to climb up some small durian tree with the neighbor kid, my best friend and started flying kick from there. 1st from 3 feets high. Then 4 feets… 5 feets…. 6 feets… 7 feets and finally 8 feets but my knee knock on my jaws and…. Auuch ! That a painful one. Luckily too still in pieces with no broken bones. :D
  • When the pain have gone. You will forget about it. And the most dangerous one we did is the kick from the roof. The roof about 9 feets high and easily accessible by climbing up the mata kuching tree. This was the last stunt we ever did. When my father saw what we did he took a rotan (a cane) and try to hit me. I ran zigzag around the row of rubber trees to avoid him hitting me and my friend ran back to his home. For hours I dare not go home and stayed at my friend home.
  • I still received the canning the whole body when back home. Auuch! Auccch! Pain! Pain! Wha!… Wha!…. More pain than the knee knocking the jaws! This is a good lesson I have learned. Don’t blame me as no one ever told me that in movies, it is just acting not real. Even if it is real…. it was done by well trained people like professional stuntmen and they knew how to prevent body injuries to the minimum. As a kid I thought it is fun and real.
