Leslie Cheung & Anita Mui Singing Competitions – Final (Part 5)
Finally the competitions over at 10:40PM I have stood there with the fask mask for more than 2 1/2 hours. Both legs a little bit tired that moment. Everybody began to leave the seat.
Before I move nearer to the stage, the large balloon floating outside caught my attention and I decided to snap it down too. Each time I saw “Sports Toto Malaysia” logo it ‘tell’ me that there is a chance for me to be a millionaire one day
Why not? RM 1 for RM 1 million worth to be ‘invested’ once a while. If I never try, I will never know if I have the luck?
As I moved closer to the stage, I saw that some people are taking photo with Anita Group 1st Prize Winner, Sharon Wong Sad Yong (from Kuala Lumpur). I decided to snap them down too! Just for my blogs.

As I looked around, I noticed that most people have gone. The event organizers are clearing up the chairs and other things. It time to remove the mask. It should be safe at moment I guessed. No coughing & running nose people around. So should have no H1N1
Ha! Ha! Time to have some pictures for a memorable night. I asked some crew members to take some pictures for me before I go back.

Malaysian Bloggers Evening – Party Like A Blogstar!

As I walked in the lounge, I did not see many people there. Mostly are the club’s staff and a few others (Organiser and his friends) It seem that I am one of the early birds. To make sure that the Malaysian Bloggers Evening party really in this place I asked the staffs about it and they confirmed that this is the place. I asked if I need to register or something and one guy asked me to check with the organiser.
This is when I came to know Josh Lim (Tonight event organiser. Founder of Avertlets.com ) and his friend, Rebecca. Rebecca asked my name and then gave me a range of stickers to choose from. I didn’t know which one seem to suit m
e as a blogger.
It have something like Hot Blogger, Cool Blogger, Lousy Blogger, Emo Blogger, Green Blogger etc Well… finally I settle with Cool Blogger sticker. Does my blogs cool or not? If cool then I made the right choice. He! He!
I chatted with Rebecca for a while then only I knew it was Josh’s birthday party tonight. As I hanging around, I began to see more people coming in and I get to know some of the guys like Thomas, Mak, Koh, Raja Hafify and others. We ordered some drinks and we started chatting & exchanging name cards. For those who did not bring their name card, I asked them to write down their blogs site on my notebook so that when I am free, I am able to check it out later.

Left To Right: Josh Lim (Birthday boy) Thomas, Raja Hafify, unknown (sorry
forget the name), Koh, myself

While chatting, we began to see more sexy leng lui walked in. Thomas took out his camera and began to walk around snapping pictures while Koh walking around chatting up with those ladies. As the free flow of food and drinks just before 10:00 PM, I just sat there chatting with other while enjoying the Tuborg beer and food slowly then later I decided to join Thomas snapping up pictures.

During the free flow of beer, cocktails and soft drinks from 8-10PM and finger foods I just have a Tuborg beer and ate whatever brought by the waitress.
Emcees for the night: Qi & Julie Woon from 8TV’s Blogger Boy.
Hot sexy bloggers Renee Tay & Amanda Choe

Below are the photos I managed to take with some sexy bloggers. Among them are May, Amanda Choe, Jaqueline Mak, & Renee Tay
It just a coincidence that Amanda Choe have chosen the same sticker as mine. Here is the result when two “Cool Bloggers” get together.

After 10:00PM most of the bloggers have left the place. Thomas, Koh & myself still hanging around. Thomas still moving around with his camera. I can see that he really like to take photos and I believed in his camera full of leng lui photos where I may have missed. Koh still himself… still chat up with any leng lui he able to catch his attention. Thomas told me that he is quite good at this
While I was standing there talking with a guy name David, I have noticed that Koh sat next to a lady and talking.
Not long before, David and his friend left. Then I also noticed that Amanda & Renee began to leave with some other girls. I waved “Goodbye” to her when she walked pass me. She waved back when seeing me waved to her and she walked out of the lounge. I then noticed that Thomas took Koh’s picture with the lady. Just don’t want to miss out, I joined in too! I gave her my business card and asked Thomas to take this picture (below) for me. I chatted with her for a while and I came to know her name is Jacqueline. She looked very familiar to me as I remembered I have seen her photo somewhere at facebook. Tina Fong’s friend? I thought for a while. Maybe…. as I used to check Tina’s profile once a while.
Anyhow, I asked her if she have contact number but she said she don’t have and I asked if she have a blog. Silly me, sure she have as tonight is a bloggers night what! I asked her to write it down in my notebook. After a while she also asked permission to leave.

I left around 11:40PM. After 2 bottle of Tuborg beers I dizzily walked out of the lounge. On the way to the open car park, I noticed that the Menara Kuala Lumpur (Menara KL) lights was quite attractive. I decided to take some shoots of it. The shot on the left is without flash and the on on the right is using camera flash.
When I reached Wangsa Maju, I am having some supper at the mamak restaurant and reading some newspaper but the dizziness made me want to sleep. I quickly finished the meal and heading home and went to sleep straight away.

These are the items I have taken home from the party. A white T-Shirt with the word “Envie” sewed to the colar and some CDs.
Now What? Let Go Party…!
As soon I leave Canon HQ I have caught in minor traffic jam along the road from Airport to Federal Highway. The real nightmare began from Guinness to Midvalley. It is 6:00PM that time. Crawling bumper to bumper, I think if that moment I release a turtle on the highway it can crawl faster than the traffic jam! Believe me! It took alomost 1 hour to pass by Midvalley, can you imagine?
By the moment I reached Changkat Bukit Bintang it is almost 7:20PM and the Malaysian Bloggers Evening party will start on 7:30PM Now where the heck is Envie Lounge Club? I drove along the Changkat Bukit Bintang looking left right and also cheeking out where have parking space. As I reached the end of the road, I found some empty open car park yet I still did not find the place, so I made an u-turn back and decided to check along the road one more time.
Then … after I passed by and when I look back….. on the left hand side I found the club! Damn! Now I have passed it by. No choice loh! I need to find a place to turn back. After u-turn, I have decided to park my car on the open car park and paid RM 5.00 for that. Definitely park by the roadside near the club is no.. no to me as I don’t want to risk my car being summon or worse being tow away by the Bandaraya or the police. Not worth it!
Heading Towards Canon Headquarter (HQ)
Around 4:30 PM I goes in a computer shop here in Wangsa Maju to purchase a memory card for my camera. I have a 2GB Mini SD card but it is not enough for me if I used it to capture videos and photos. So I in
deed need a larger memory card for this purpose. The boss recommend me the 4GB Kingston Micro SD card for RM 40+ Fair enough! I remembered the 2GB card cost more that 2 years back.
After my meal, I drove to Canon HQ and reached there at 5:20 PM I gave the staff the service order and she collect the camera for me. After checking everything OK, I get myself ready for tonight party.

Rating For Canon Service: Excellent, Do What Is Promised!
Will Attend This Event Tonight
I have called up Canon Service Centre to check if the camera I have sent in for repaired is ready for collection because I really need the camera for tonight function. Without the camera, it will useless to be there as I can’t captured the happening and upload the pictures here soon.
The customer service staff passed my call to the technician and he said will call me back in 5 minutes. I hanged up and wait. 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… and the phone rang. Wah! This Canon people really good! Exactly 5 minutes he called and the news is … Ya Hoo! I can go to the centre to collect the camera today. So happy!
Hmm.. was wondering which blogger leng lui I will get to know tonight? Keeping my fingers close. Just wait and see….

World’s Largest Pewter Tankard
While having dinner at a Mamak restaurant over here in Taman Melawati on 31st July, 2009 I have spotted this article at the Starmetro Newspaper, I have decided to snap it down.

Measuring 1.987m, and weighing 1,557kg, the tankard, certified as the world’s largest by the Guinness World Records.
Today is Sunday, I am in KL (Kuala Lumpur) and quite free. I have decided to go over Pavilion to take a look at this giant tankard. I parked my car at KLCC, (Petronas Twin Towers) around 1.30PM. I walked toward the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) and there are many people heading toward the same direction as today is the last day of PC Fair 2009. As soon I reached KLCC, I did not follow the crowd to PC Fair but I crossed the road and headed to Wisma Cosway. I used the flyover bridge to Pavilion and have these pictures taken.

Tired walking from KLCC to Pavilion? Since the pewter tankard so big, no harm to ‘borrow’ it body to have a short nap. Right?
Waha Ha Ha! Well, infact this picture was taken by the security guard as I couldn’t find anyone to hold the camera for me. You can’t blame him as he never ask me to get ready and he just snapped like that.
Feeling fresh after the ‘short nap’? Here is another picture taken by him ‘just after wake up’ Ha! Ha! Anyway, I like to thank him for taken me these pictures or else you will not see me beside the world largest pewter tankard.
After taken these pictures, I walked back to KLCC for the PC Fair 2009. Just wondering what special about this event this year. While at the bridge this words caught my attention. Feeling energitic and alive that moment, I said to myself, “Why not?” I gave it a shot.
