We knew each other by CHANCE, became friends by CHOICE, being together by DECISION, when I say I LOVE YOU FOREVER, that's a lifetime PROMISE! You are the last girl I can't resist. I am the last boy in your list.

Specially dedicated to the woman I loved

Chap Goh Mei (Chinese Valentine) have been passed. Single women threw oranges to the pond for single men to pick it up. Single men given the women they like the banana

On Chap Goh Mei this year I don't have a chance to give away the banana to any single women. So I am going to give away the banana here in my blogs till I get my dream woman, the one that will love me for live!

Any single women want to grab this banana? Or you want to grab the real one? Ha! Ha!

Leslie Cheung & Anita Mui Singing Competitions – Final (Part 5)

Finally the competitions over at 10:40PM I have stood there with the fask mask for more than 2 1/2 hours. Both legs a little bit tired that moment. Everybody began to leave the seat.

Before I move nearer to the stage, the large balloon floating outside caught my attention and I decided to snap it down too. Each time I saw “Sports Toto Malaysia” logo it ‘tell’ me that there is a chance for me to be a millionaire one day ;) Why not? RM 1 for RM 1 million worth to be ‘invested’ once a while. If I never try, I will never know if I have the luck?

As I moved closer to the stage, I saw that some people are taking photo with Anita Group 1st Prize Winner, Sharon Wong Sad Yong (from Kuala Lumpur). I decided to snap them down too! Just for my blogs. :D

As I looked around, I noticed that most people have gone. The event organizers are clearing up the chairs and other things. It time to remove the mask. It should be safe at moment I guessed. No coughing & running  nose people around. So should have no H1N1 ;) Ha! Ha! Time to have some pictures for a memorable night. I asked some crew members to take some pictures for me before I go back.

Tips to keep your mouth fresh when using face mask.

Using face mask may cause inconveniences when you need to have it on your face for a long time… say in 1 hour or more. The problem is you will breath in some the same air you may have breathed out. Just imagine what kind of breath you will have if you have some garlic, petai or onion foods just before you put up the mask. It is also understandable that these foods are indeed the favourite of many people!

The breath later that came out…. may be difficult to stand. I think if you catch a fly and put in the mask… the fly also can be fainted (though you may argue that the fly may have been to a place where it is more worse than the breath from your mouth!) OK! OK! If the fly did not faint, I think you are the one who will finally fainted or you want to remove the mask as soon as possible (that is if you want to gamble whether have H1N1 there among the people)

I want to share how I keep my breath fresh all the while the competition is on. I sprayed my mouth with Amway Glister Mint Refresher Spray and I smelled mint in my mouth all the while! So fresh so nice so cool! It also keep my mouth moist all the while without the need to drink water. An indispensable companion, the Glister Mouth Refresher Spray features a sweet and refreshing mint and anise flavour to help overcome food and tobacco after taste.

  • Convenient and easy to use – 9g container fits in pocket or handbag.
  • Provides over 250 metered sprays – each metered spray lasts a fraction of a second and then turns itself off.
  • Ideal for weight watchers – it contains no sugar and therefore, no calories!

You can get it from any Amway distributor or Amway IBOs out there. You may even buy it from any Amway Shoppe (Shop) [if there is one in your area.] If you still cannot find the distributor to service you…. you have found me ;)

Leslie Cheung & Anita Mui Singing Competitions – Final (Part 1)

5:15 PM, after work, I went into a Sports Toto outlet to purchased some tickets for today draw.  To be an instant millionaire dream still not yet died in me. ;) I am a bit concern of the H1N1 outbreak, :( but not too worried about it. I have put on a face mask before goes in the shop.

You may said, “Do you think it is so easy to get H1N1 like striking a jackpot ah?” Well… striking jackpot is definitely not easy though or else many Malaysian have became instant millionaire but to get H1N1 is much more easy as the numbered of cases have been increased by days. Not forgetting the death toll too! This number have changed many times! Each time it changed, the number getting bigger and for sure that moment…. somebody out there…. will loose a love one in the family. If not because of this H1N1, he or she might lived on for another few years or so.

When in the shop, I have noticed that tonight is the final night for Leslie Cheung & Anita Mui Singing Competitions and will be held at Times Square Boulevard on 7:00PM tonight. Since I am free  from now onward, I have decided to attend this event.

After purchasing the draw tickets, I went back to the car, took out the mask, power down a bit of the car windscreen, set the alarm to 6:00PM and took a short nap. When the alarm set on, I woke up. I went to the 7-11 shop to buy 2 packets of batteries for my digital camera. Then I have my dinner at nearby mamak restaurant. A plate of rojak and a glass of teh ais.

I drove to Times Square and reached there around 6:40PM. It take me about 5 minutes to go round and round the car park in order to get a parking space. I put on the same mask I have used, snapped the parking location then goes in the mall. I saw many people there still did not wear face mask except some. I am one of them. I did not belong to high risk chronic group (ie: obese, diabetes, heart problem, asthma) I have increased intake of Nutrilite food supplements & vitamins (from Amway) I believed my immune system is better than many that did not take the supplements. If I cannot die of this disease, it is not fun to be quarantine for a week or two as I have many things waiting for me to do. So I just did not want to take thing for granted. If other don’t even concern about it (which is not my problem) I should learn to take care of my own self. :D If I did not do it who can help me then?

When I am in the mall, I did not see any place indicating there is a singing competition to be held there. Am I coming to the right place? Is this Times Square Boulevard located at the same place as this mall or there is another place in KL called “Times Square Boulevard” I checked with the information counter and the staff told me it is on the ground floor main entrance. When I reached there I noticed that ticket is required for entry. I asked one guy there where to get the entry ticket and how much. He said no need to pay for it but you need to have the ticket to get a seat. A coincidence that he said he have 1 extra ticket and he gave it to me. So lucky for me. ;)

After saying thank you to him I took the ticket and goes to washroom. On the way I stopped a while to snap the picture of the ticket. An aunty saw me taking the photo asked me where do I have the ticket. I said someone at the entrance gave it to me. I asked her if she going to watch the competitions, she said no as she need to go somewhere else around 7:30PM

As I goes back to the entrance to look for my seat, I saw the man (that given me the ticket) already there with his family. I sat down and took some pictures but the stage is so far away. Even maximum zooming from my camera did not give me good pictures. The show have started by some dance. I recorded part of the dance.

I noticed that the area where people standing is much more nearer to the stage. I asked the security guard on duty if I can go to there. He nodded his head as an ‘OK’ signal. I quickly grabbed the souvenirs that was put on my chair by the sponsors (ie a car stickers by 988 fm, a plastic fold able fan and a participant lists by Sport Toto)

I moved out the place because 1) it it heaty there (no wonder the sponsor supplied the plastic fan ;) ) 2) I want to get nearer to the stage. I quickly brought those souvenirs down the car park so that I can put it on the car. Those items on my hands will prevent me to take pictures and do the video clips recording. If I did not have it on my hands, I will be free to move around.

By the time I came back, the 1st participant already started his song and almost finished. I quickly recorded the short clip just before he go down the stage. As I looked around at the place people standing, I am the only one there with the face mask. As I further looked at the place where most people seated, there I saw quite a number of people with the face mask there. So I am not alone though.

Listening to contestants performing Leslie Cheung’s song, myself and those people seated there wearing the face mask brought me back many memories. I remembered clearly an image where Hong Kong was hit by SAR (2003) and at the same moment when Leslie left us (jumped to his death) and how the fans wearing the face mask queing along the roadside sending him off.

Malaysian Bloggers Evening – Party Like A Blogstar!

As I walked in the lounge, I did not see many people there. Mostly are the club’s staff and a few others (Organiser and his friends) It seem that I am one of the early birds. To make sure that the Malaysian Bloggers Evening party really in this place I asked the staffs about it and they confirmed that this is the place. I asked if I need to register or something and one guy asked me to check with the organiser.

This is when I came to know Josh Lim (Tonight event organiser. Founder of  Avertlets.com ) and his friend, Rebecca. Rebecca asked my name and then gave me a range of stickers to choose from. I didn’t know which one seem to suit me as a blogger. ;) It have something like Hot Blogger, Cool Blogger, Lousy Blogger, Emo Blogger, Green Blogger etc  Well… finally I settle with Cool Blogger sticker. Does my blogs cool or not?  If cool then I made the right choice. He! He!

I chatted with Rebecca for a while then only I knew it was Josh’s birthday party tonight. As I hanging around,  I began to see more people coming in and I get to know some of the guys like Thomas, Mak, Koh, Raja Hafify and others.  We ordered some drinks and we started chatting & exchanging name cards. For those who did not bring their name card, I asked them to write down their blogs site on my notebook so that when I am free, I am able to check it out later.

Left To Right: Josh Lim (Birthday boy) Thomas, Raja Hafify, unknown (sorry ;) forget the name), Koh, myself

While chatting, we began to see more sexy leng lui walked in. Thomas took out his camera and began to walk around snapping pictures while Koh walking around chatting up with those ladies. As the free flow of food and drinks just before 10:00 PM, I just sat there chatting with other while enjoying the Tuborg beer and food slowly then later I decided to join Thomas snapping up pictures.

During the free flow of beer, cocktails and soft drinks from 8-10PM and finger foods I just  have a Tuborg beer and ate whatever brought by the waitress. :D

Emcees for the night: Qi & Julie Woon from 8TV’s Blogger Boy.

Hot sexy bloggers Renee Tay & Amanda Choe

Below are the photos I managed to take with some sexy bloggers. Among them are May, Amanda Choe, Jaqueline Mak, & Renee Tay

It just a coincidence that Amanda Choe have chosen the same sticker as mine. Here is the result when two “Cool Bloggers” get together. ;)

Everyone Have An Enjoyable & Fun Evening!

Birthday Boy Josh Lim (Middle) & The Hot Sexy Angels

Left To Right: Bloggers Amanda Choe, Renee Tay, Josh Lim, Marcia Tan & May

After 10:00PM most of the bloggers have left the place. Thomas, Koh & myself still hanging around. Thomas still moving around with his camera. I can see that he really like to take photos and I believed  in his camera full of leng lui photos where I may have missed. Koh still himself… still chat up with any leng lui he able to catch his attention. Thomas told me that he is quite good at this :) While I was standing there talking with a guy name David, I have noticed that Koh sat next to a lady and talking.

Not long before, David and his friend left. Then I also noticed that Amanda & Renee began to leave with some other girls. I waved “Goodbye” to her when she walked pass me. She waved back  when seeing me waved to her and she walked out of the lounge. I then noticed that Thomas took Koh’s picture with the lady. Just don’t want to miss out, I joined in too! I gave her my business card and asked Thomas to take this picture (below) for me. I chatted with her for a while and I came to know her name is Jacqueline. She looked very familiar to me as I remembered I have seen her photo somewhere at facebook. Tina Fong’s friend? I thought  for a while. Maybe…. as I used to check Tina’s profile once a while. ;)

Anyhow, I asked her if she have contact number but she said she don’t have and I asked if she have a blog. Silly me, sure she have as tonight is a bloggers night what!  I asked her to write it down in my notebook. After a while she also asked permission to leave.

With hot blogger Jacqueline Mak

I left around 11:40PM. After 2 bottle of Tuborg beers I dizzily walked out of the lounge. On the way to the open car park, I noticed that the Menara Kuala Lumpur (Menara KL) lights was quite attractive. I decided to take some shoots of it. The shot on the left is without flash and the on on the right is using camera flash. ;)

When I reached Wangsa Maju, I am having some supper at the mamak restaurant and reading some newspaper but the dizziness made me want to sleep. I quickly finished the meal and heading home and went to sleep straight away.

These are the items I have taken home from the party. A white T-Shirt with the word “Envie” sewed to the colar and some CDs.

Now What? Let Go Party…!

As soon I leave Canon HQ I have caught in minor traffic jam along the road from Airport to Federal Highway. The real nightmare began from  Guinness to Midvalley. It is 6:00PM that time. Crawling bumper to bumper, I think if that moment I release a turtle on the highway it can crawl faster than the traffic jam! Believe me! It took alomost 1 hour to pass by Midvalley, can you imagine?

By the moment I reached Changkat Bukit Bintang it is almost 7:20PM and the Malaysian Bloggers Evening party will start on 7:30PM Now where the heck is Envie Lounge Club? I drove along the Changkat Bukit Bintang looking left right and also cheeking out where have parking space. As I reached the end of the road, I found some empty open car park yet I still did not find the place, so I made an u-turn back and decided to check along the road one more time.

Then … after I passed by and when I look back….. on the left hand side I found the club! Damn! Now I have passed it by. No choice loh! I need to find a place to turn back. After u-turn, I have decided to park my car on the open car park and paid RM 5.00 for that. Definitely park by the roadside near the club is no.. no to me as I don’t want to risk my car being summon or worse being tow away by the Bandaraya or the police. Not worth it!

Heading Towards Canon Headquarter (HQ)

Filed under: Canon, Canon HQ, Kingston — Tags: , , — Stephen @ 4:37 pm

Around 4:30 PM I goes in a computer shop here in Wangsa Maju to purchase a memory card for my camera. I have a 2GB Mini SD card but it is not enough for me if I used it to capture videos and photos. So I indeed need a larger memory card for this purpose. The boss  recommend me the 4GB Kingston Micro SD card for RM 40+ Fair enough! I remembered the 2GB card cost more that 2 years back.

After my meal, I drove to Canon HQ and reached there at 5:20 PM I gave the staff the service order and she collect the camera for me. After checking everything OK, I get myself ready for tonight party. ;)

Rating For Canon Service: Excellent, Do What Is Promised!

World’s Largest Pewter Tankard

While having dinner at a Mamak restaurant over here in Taman Melawati on 31st July, 2009 I have spotted this article at the Starmetro Newspaper, I have decided to snap it down.

Measuring 1.987m, and weighing 1,557kg, the tankard, certified as the world’s largest by the Guinness World Records.

Today is Sunday, I am in KL (Kuala Lumpur) and quite free. I have decided to go over Pavilion to take a look at this giant tankard. I parked my car at KLCC, (Petronas Twin Towers) around 1.30PM. I walked toward the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) and there are many people heading toward the same direction as today is the last day of PC Fair 2009. As soon I reached KLCC, I did not follow the crowd to PC Fair but I crossed the road and headed to Wisma Cosway. I used the flyover bridge to Pavilion and have these pictures taken.

Tired walking from KLCC to Pavilion? Since the pewter tankard so big, no harm to ‘borrow’ it body to have a short nap. Right? ;) Waha Ha Ha! Well, infact this picture was taken by the security guard as I couldn’t find anyone to hold the camera for me. You can’t blame him as he never ask me to get ready and he just snapped like that.

Feeling fresh after the ’short nap’? Here is another picture taken by him ‘just after wake up’ Ha! Ha! Anyway, I like to thank him for taken me these pictures or else you will not see me beside the world largest pewter tankard. :D

After taken these pictures, I walked back to KLCC for the PC Fair 2009. Just wondering what special about this event this year. While at the bridge this words caught my attention. Feeling energitic and alive that moment, I said to myself, “Why not?” I gave it a shot.
