After bought a box of low fat, high calcium milk, some ice creams, some vegetables from JUSCO, mum and I headed to Amway Shoppe (Amway Shop) at Seremban 2 for Amway Shopping.

My Favourite Sentimental Songs Playlist

I have spend the whole days listening and selecting nice song to be put on the playlist. When I listened back these songs, I only realised that I have almost forgotten all about it. Forgetting that these are the nicest songs in the 70s, 80, and 90s. Some of these songs have accompany me together during my teenage life. Surely these songs have bring back some of my memories during those time. To-date I have compiled 173 tracks on this playlist.

I remembered that back to 80s and 90s I used to copy these lyrics from the Magazine and sang along. Now you can find several thousands of these lyrics all over internet.

Some of the singers still around. Among them are Air Supply, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Michael Learn To Rock, Olivia Newton John, Sade, Whitney Houston,

Some no longer with us. They are Andy Gibb, Danny Chan (陳百強), Michael Jackson, Randy Vanwarmer, Teresa Teng (鄧麗君)] but their songs still nice to be hear.

Opening Of Amway Shop Klang

CONSUMERS in the Klang Valley who use Amway products can now visit its new concept shop in Bandar Botanic, Klang. Walk-in customers who are interested in buying Amway products at the shop may register as a distributor by buying an Amway business kit for RM85. A membership number will be issued on the spot and the customer can proceed to order products immediately.

Staffed by six employees, the new shop operates 10am to 9pm, Mondays to Saturdays. The shop is located at No. 55 & 57, Ground Floor, Jalan Mahogani 5/KS7, Bandar Botanic, 41200 Klang.

Backing Up Hard Drive

I spent the whole day burned important data to CD. Though many not yet finish back up, I have learned my lesson well after one of my 320 Gigabytes Seagate Hard Disc (full with data) decided to follow Michael Jackson & Farrah Fawcett. Death! Retired for the rest of it life! Initially the drive have gave me warning signal but I took thing for granted. I ignored it. Just because of my own ignorance, the final result I have is I lost the entire drive of data. No more sound, no more spinning, nothing!

The death of the drive was believed to be caused by overheated as I on it 24 hours a day downloading from internet. The first warning I noticed from this drive is that sometime can be read, sometime not. First I thought of the USB connection not working properly but never knew that it is a signal that this drive “is sick” until it is too late.

So to everyone out there, never trust you hard drive 100% as there will a day it will betray you! Back up now! You may said burned your data to a piece of plastic (CD) also an idiot move! Yeah true! CD data also may not be able to recover if it is broken, scratched or worse you lost the CD.

But one thing for sure, you will still have it when your hard drive failed on you. It better than you have nothing at all.

If you scare one CD will fail on you, how about back up a few more copies of the same important data? What do you think?

Amway Platinums Flew To Guangzhou, China

I woke up at 6:10AM today. After breakfast, I drove to KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) at Sepang, Selangor Darul Eshan around 7:10AM. While I was at Nilai Rest Area, I called up Alice to check if she have arrived at KLIA. She told me that she is on the way. The reason I am at KLIA this morning is to send Alice off to Guangzhou, China. She have qualified as Platinum Direct Distributor and was invited for the free trip by Amway (Malaysia) Sendirian Berhad.

I reached KLIA around 8:00AM. As I parked the car, Alice have called me up to inform me of her flight departure location and now she & business associates heading toward McDonald’s. I put on a face mask as a precautionary measure to protect myself from the Influenza A (H1N1) I stepped out of the car, believe it or not, this is the first time I put my feet on KLIA even though it have been here for quite sometime! Before this I used to be at Subang International Airport. After the airport shifted here, this is the first time I am here.

As soon I joined them at McDonald’s I found out that the arrival and departure was not at the same block so it should be safe to take out the face mask for a while for photo session. :D

Those with blue neck tag are the Amway IBOs who have qualified as Platinum and was invited to the free trip to Quangzhou, China.

Thumb up for the Influenza A (H1N1)? Ha! Ha! Nope! The thump up is for the Amway free trip to Guangzhou, China :)

After Alice boarded the plane. I decided to walk around with the face mask back on (as precaution measure) and snapping some pictures. Although the outbreak in Malaysia is under control (as announced by the Malaysia Ministry of Health) I am not taking chances! Reason is you don’t know who was infected at the Airport as this place is the main entrance of the imported disease. ;)

Happy 1st Anniversary To StephenBlogs4u2c.com

free myspace comments4th July, 2008 is your birthday. After 1 year, I have managed to officially published 341 posts, 132 pages! 5 still in Drafts, 160 posts in private (Still pending) Hours, days and months have been put in to create the content of these blogs. Not to mention the numbers of sleepless night!

In a year, I have taken a lot of pictures & short video clips. Some of these I might never bother to take if I don’t have this blog. But after taken it, it is just the beginning of a nightmare! Why I said like that? Well, I have several hundreds (going to be 1 thousand or more) of unedited photos, 100 +  short video clips. All these taken up my hard disc places tremendously. Sometime due to laziness and no time to burn to CD, it put all these pictures and videos at risk as hard disc can be malfunction anytime any moment without warning.

Chances to loose it is there as I already have 2 malfunctions hard drives so far. Both contains movies, mp3 that I have downloaded from internet plus some important data are gone forever for sure by now.

I scared these pictures and videos for the blogs will be gone just like that one day. I started to burn some to CD recently. Though not yet back up all… it is better than never backup at all ;) Those movies, mp3 may be able to be downloaded again (or maybe not) but these blogs pictures and videos will be lost forever if I am not seriously in doing backup. :D

Though I taken time to burn piece by piece to CD when I have time, indirectly it still will help me to recover some (though may not 100%) if hard disc malfunction.

I have another hard disc that still use sable but with some bad sector creeping in. When I have discovered that, this hard drive no longer used to store any data. Editing , re-sizing photos need damn hell of time. So do to the video clips. With the present speed on broadband in Malaysia, uploading the clips also need really sometime, even though it is just a few megabytes! That the challenges I may be facing while doing this blog. Well… anyhow with no regrets of course! I am happy and enjoying doing the blogging. Lastly, once again
