Qing Ming

Chun-She / Qing Ming Praying

As “Chun-She” falls on 24 March 2009, according to traditional Chinese customs, family members whose departed loved ones interred at Nilai Memorial Park of less than one year are advised to pay their respects before “Chun-She” i.e. from 14 to 23 March 2009.

“Qing Ming” for this year falls on Saturday, April 4, 2009. To avoid congestion, family members are advised to perform prayers to their departed loved ones anytime from 25 March to 14 April 2009.

Xion En Service

Open from 8:30AM to 5:30PM daily during this festival. Praying material such as joss-sticks, candles, paper boxes, flowers & fruits will be sold on weekends only at the Service Hall below Xiao En Temple.

Xion En Temple

Xiao En Temple

I woke up at 9:15AM. After having some breakfast in Seremban 2 coffee shop, I drove to Seremban town to get some vegetarian foods for the Qing Ming prayer. Later I headed to Nilai Memorial Park and reached there around 11:00AM This the place my late father laid to rest.

Before the Qing Ming praying, I need to go to this Xiao En Temple to pray for the Tua Pek Kong (大伯公) first [Da Bo Gong, Tua Pek Gong, Dua Pek Gong, Dua Pek Kong or whatever the spelling it is!]  Wink just because He is the “landlord” of this park and as a respect for Him. This praying also as a form of “seeking permission” from Him to perform Qing Ming prayer on this land.

As I left this temple to go to the praying area, I almost bump into a cute girl but too bad I am not Wink She is about 18-20s?  wore a black T-shirt, mini jean skirt. I drove my car to a car park near the praying area. After parked my car there I managed to snap this temple picture just before taking those praying materials to the praying area (Niches – Quadrangles)

15 minutes after I performed the prayer in front of my late father niches, I noticed the cute girl that I almost bump into came in to the opposite quadrangles with her family (Her mum with 3 brothers) While waiting for the joss-sticks and candles to be fully burn, I keep an eyes on her from distance. She noticed that I looked at her but she just pretended that she did not see me. While her mum and brothers preparing the foods to be place on the table she just looked around the niches on the wall. Once a while she stood beside her mother and I noticed that she almost same height with her mum. If not mistaken, around 5′ 1 or 5′ 2″.

While watching them, suddenly this thought came to my mind. I am a bit sorry for her mum as at such a young age she have lost her husband. She looked around 40 to 42 years old and needed to raise the 4 children on her own. What a big responsibility and I believed that, it is not easy for her to be a mother and father for her children but she have all the courage to take up this challenge. Life goes on even without her other half. Her children should be proud of her!

Does her situation now reflex the same thing as what will happen to my wife and children one day? I looked at my late father niches. Now I am here praying for him. Will there be anyone to pray for me if one day I leave this world? At the age of 43+ I still single. I don’t have any women now who willing to be my wife nor any women want to have children with me. If really there is a day I have chance to get marry and have children, does what I saw now in front of eyes will be happened to my wife and children ? Or I don’t even have a wife and children?

I left the Niches – Quadrangles around 12:30PM because I have an appointment with a dentist in Seremban town at 2:00PM

P/S Sorry… I only have the picture of Xiao En Temple here as I dare not take pictures near the Niches – Quadrangles surrounding area as I afraid it will show disrespect to those have been laid to rest.

Visiting Dentist

Just to get my teeth fix by the dentist, I walked in a dental clinic in Seremban at 3:00PM. Wow! So many people there! When you see these people you will think, this is what you called “Economic Slowdown?” Or the dental business did not affected? Maybe yes, if consider these facts.

  1. Out of a sudden, you have a toothache, you can’t wait until economic getting better then only you go to visit the dentist. (That will be years from today!) I believed that everyone that have a toothache will want to get rid of the problem as soon as possible. You can’t wait even a minutes due to the unbearable pain.
  2. You have made false teeth but it did not fit into your jaws properly, don’t tell me that you will wait until good time only then you inform the dentist it is not fit. If you did this, meaning you no need to eat any solid food during this time. Smile
  3. A braces need to fit on your teeth to correct teeth problems.
  4. Due to some emergency or an accident, minor surgery need to be done.
  5. Your career that required you to have nice cleaning white teeth and you need the dentist to do the cleaning and whitening for you.

No matter whatever the reasons, it may seem that the dental business will be around and won’t be badly hit by the slow down. Like it or not, you still need to give your money for the dentist Wink

I need to wait up to 5.25PM just before my turn. As I sat on the dental chair, drilling sound from the opposite room made me nervous. The sound made my jaws feel like just have taken a piece of sour lemon! Frown I felt my legs “weaken” by the effect. When the dentist finally attended to me, he asked me what is my problem. I said that a small piece of my teeth have been broken while chewing some solid food 2 weeks ago and now don’t know if it can be fix. The dentist said, “It depend. If that broken chirp have hurt the teeth nerve and feel pain, then it will be difficult. If no pain, then it can be fix”, but anyhow he need to put in some medicine there to see if it pain or not for this two weeks. If the medicine cause pain then it will difficult to save this teeth.

Before he is able to put in the medicine filling, he need to drill a ‘bigger’ hole. This procedure most of the time can cause tears out my eyes but luckily today not so bad. I don’t feel much pain. He asked me to come back again next 2 weeks to see what can be done. At the reception counter I fixed an appointment on 30/03/2009 (2:00PM) The medicine filling cost me RM 35

MATTA Fair 09

I have arrived at PWTC (Putra World Trade Centre) around 3:00PM and I wondered why I am here at the first place? To go for travel? Nope! Not the main reason. To get some traveling information? Maybe yes! To get some pictures for my blogs? Yes! That another reason. I guessed the main reason to be here is just looked around what is MATTA Fair (Malaysia Association of Tour & Travel Agents Fair) is all about and I also want to hand out my own ads.

At the registration counter, after paying RM3 I was given a pink MATTA Fair bag and a red wrist band to be stick on my hand.

MATTA Fair 2009 Wrist Band MATTA Fair 2009 Wrist Band MATTA Fair 2009 Wrist Band

As I walked to level 4 and goes into the exhibitions hall I saw many visitors there. Some are just looked around, some busy grabbing whatever available catalogs and brochures, some have dicussion with the travel agents and some busy registered for the lower rates best travel packages (available only at MATTA Fair) Based on the number of people registered for these packages, I guessed another sector that is doing well during this slown down time is the travel industry.

I loved to travel but I don’t want to pay for it. I am looking for a company to sponsor me for the free trip. So far as I knew, there are some industries that will sponsor you a free trip if you achieved their specify target. Among them are insurance, direct selling or Multi-Level Marketing, modeling, beauty pageant etc. Most allow you to travel alone but I knew one that allowed you to bring your other half even if you do it alone. What company is that? If you want to know more you may contact me and I will explain to you in detail how it work.

Ok back to this MATTA Fair 2009, since the organiser given me a bag, if not make full use of it will be a waste. The purpose for the bag to be given is for you to put whatever material you can get at the exhibitions. So as I walked from booth to booth, I just took whatever brochures and catalogs that attracted me and put in the bag. I went there empty handed but returned home with 8 to 9 kgs of materials Wink All these will be junks for me until I go through it one by one. Some of the information I will put on my blogs when I have free time to do it. Wink When I finish go through all these then I will have 9 kgs of junks to sell to recycle center.  Ha! Ha! Hmm… Don’t know if after I sell, enough for me to buy a roti canai & nescafe tarik or not? Well, no matter what, I do my part to help protecting the earth, right? I do recyling. Smile

Nutrition Breakfast Demo

1:00PM I was at Petaling Jaya to meet an IBO, Mr. Tan. I have made an appointment with him earlier. The reason to see him today is to show him the Nutrition Breakfast Demo I have learned from Network J&J meeting. After the demo, he is quite impressed about it. He did not place any order but that not so important. What important is I able to let him see what I have learned. This can be part of the follow-up I need to do on non active IBOs. I have told him that if he have friends who like to see the demo, can make an appointment with me. I will then be there to help him to do the demo presentation.

I Still Remembered 308 – 8th March 2008

This Video Clip’s Message

I still remember vividly the night of 308, some celebrating infront of their televisions. Some got back home at midnight. Friends sharing their joy & happiness. Tear flowing, overwhelmed with emotions. Sharing the magical moment together. Staying up late waiting anxiously for results. Sharing excitements at the Mamak’s stalls. Such indescribable touching moments. Some called it political tsunami, yet the sky was amazingly beautiful the next day. I still remember that day, we can really bring about Change. Go home and vote. 7th of April, the beginning of new hope!

Mesej Di Klip Video

Balik mengundi 7th April. Kita cetuskan satu lagi harapan baru!
